Intro to Off-Road Experience
The program day begins with a classroom session covering proper slow mobility and performance off-road driving techniques, a review of drivetrain components, and how they will be used on different terrains, including transfer case gear selection and differential lockers. Next, you’ll load up and head out to the Wheelhouse Off-Road Facility to put these techniques into practice through various exercises on our meticulously prepared off-road courses, as well as driving on BLM desert trails and technical trails that require slow mobility driving, guided by our professional off-road instructors.
The day features a midday lunch break along the mountain slow mobility trail, providing breathtaking views of the Tooele Valley and Utah’s rugged terrain. Once back at the Wheelhouse Off-Road Facility, you’ll learn proper jump technique, followed by more performance off-road driving and wrap up your experience with a thrilling right seat demo lap with one of our professional off-road instructors. By the program’s end, you will have enhanced your off-road driving skills and enjoyed an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience!
